Recently I came across the Being Cancer Network. The site’s founder, Dennis Pyritz, is an oncology nurse who in 2004 had a bone marrow transplant for a rare form of T-cell leukemia. He recounts his experiences in Diary of an Illness: A Cancer Nurse Battles a Rare Leukemia.
The network includes an extensive and well-organized cancer blog directory. Dennis provides an annotated list of websites, books and other resources for people affected by cancer.
